Homes & Neighborhoods
McLean’s home and neighborhood offerings provide an array of designs in concert with the community’s scenic setting on Lake Wylie and the requirements of your lifestyle. Select from various design options including custom homes near the water, homes on large lots overlooking ponds or scenic woodlands, and lower-maintenance single-family home options, all constructed by a carefully selected builder group.
Home and homesite offerings include:
South Shore, an upscale neighborhood developed using environmentally sensitive principles, features dockable home sites of up to an acre or more on the lake, and interior home sites overlooking scenic ponds, woodlands and countryside, starting at a half acre. South Shore home offerings range from estate homes by Peachtree Residential and John Wieland Homes to waterfront homes constructed by John Wieland and a host of custom builders approved by McLean.
The Conservancy, a neighborhood adjacent to Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden, offers lower maintenance single-family homes, with direct trail access to the Seven Oaks Nature Preserve on Lake Wylie. M/I Homes and Essex Homes are the builders in The Conservancy.
Overlake, a neighborhood offering traditional single-family home choices, will be perfect for families seeking high-quality construction in an amenity-rich environment. Shea Homes and Evans Coghill Homes will complete their first homes and models in Overlake by early spring 2018.
All homes in McLean are served by the City of Belmont water and sewer, police and fire protection, and trash pick-up.
