The expansive McLean waterfront community on Lake Wylie is unfolding along five miles of waterfront in Belmont, NC. Here are the latest developments.
Nearing Completion:
Armstrong Road entrances
Work is nearly complete on the two beautifully landscaped South Shore entrances on Armstrong Road, including blooming wax myrtles in the median of Shimmerlake Lane and surprisingly large oaks lining Seven Oaks Landing.
The neighborhood also has turn lanes off of Armstrong Road, provided by the developer. A traffic circle at nearby New Hope Road will be added, as well.
Under way:
South Shore Residents Club
Work has started on the South Shore Residents club and pool at the corner of Seven Oaks Landing and South Shore Drive. This community gathering spot in the heart of South Shore will open in spring 2017.
The facility is just down Seven Oaks Landing from several houses under construction by Peachtree Residential. Come visit and check out both soon. Learn more
Coming next:
The Conservancy
The second neighborhood at McLean will soon make its official debut. The Conservancy, adjacent to Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden, will offer low-maintenance single-family cottage homes with initial prices from the mid-$200s.
We will be announcing builders and offerings soon.
