1 – Begin at the Information Center
We recommend starting at the Information Center at 175 Armstrong Road, open 11 am-5 pm Tuesdays-Saturdays and 1-5 pm Sundays-Mondays. Learn what’s new, pick up complementary bottles of water, and check out the community map. We love visitors!

Turn right out of the Information Center and enter South Shore at Seven Oaks Landing.

Ahead you’ll see Peachtree Residential’s award-winning model home, named 2016 Charlotte Parade of Homes Best of Show for homes in the $650k-$750k range, plus other Peachtree homes.

Be sure to stop and tour the model, open 11 am-5 pm Mon-Sat and 1-5 Sun-Mon.

South Shore Residents Club at McLean New Construction Charlotte NC3 – Residents Club will be hub of activity
Follow Seven Oaks Landing to South Shore Drive and the future South Shore Residents Club, under construction on a knoll with lovely lake vistas.

The club will be finished this summer and will offer a wide range of amenities including a large pool.

Nature at McLean Development with New Home Construction Lake Wylie 4 – Take a lakeside hike
Miles of nature trails will crisscross McLean. One of our favorites offers a short walk to Lake Wylie and a quiet pond.

Take South Shore Drive to the cul-de-sac near Lake Wylie.

Walk the gravel path to your left into the nearby woods to the pond and lakeshore.

Follow South Shore Drive toward Cape August Place. You’ll soon spot 2 waterfront custom homes – the expansive McSpadden Custom Home nearing completion, and one of two Arthur Rutenberg Homes under construction next door.

Continue along Cape August Place to Shimmerlake Lane, then turn left. You’ll soon come to John Weiland Homes’ model under construction on the left, beside one of South Shore’s many walking paths.

The Conservancy is rapidly taking shape. Proceed to Armstrong Road, then turn left.

Turn left again at S. New Hope Road, where McLean is funding construction of the new traffic circle.

Essex Homes has several homes under construction on Trillium Way, with prices starting in the mid-$200s.

Essex is premiering a new collection of one-story floor-plan designs that can be expanded up to 3,200 sf with optional living space on the 2nd floor.

M/I Homes new construction Charlotte NC area10 – M/I Homes
M/I Homes recently broke ground on its first homes, on Gardenbrook Trail.

Most M/I homes in The Conservancy can be built with one-floor layouts and optional bonus room or upstairs living room. Prices start in the $230s.

Seven Oaks Preserve at McLean Development on Lake Wylie11 – Escape into Seven Oaks Preserve
The Conservancy will have three paths connecting to the Seven Oaks Preserve and its nature trail along Lake Wylie.

You can access the 2.8-mile trail now from a small parking lot and trailhead on South New Hope Road near the Conservancy entrance.
