Stratford CC brick & StoneHome construction will start soon in McLean’s second neighborhood, The Conservancy. Essex Homes, active in more than 50 upscale neighborhoods in Charlotte and Columbia, will build cottage-style single-family homes that are tailored to homebuyers seeking distinctive designs and lower maintenance.

Prices for Essex Homes’ two-, three- and four-bedroom homes will range from the mid-$240s to the mid-$300s, depending on floor plans, options and finishes.

The Conservancy is on New Hope Road next to the 280-acre Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden and the 77-acre Seven Oaks Preserve and nature trail on Lake Wylie.
