Enjoy a tasty lakeside picnic, take part in games and other family-friendly fun for all ages, and learn about McLean’s incredible amenities and beauty as well as its extensive selection of builders and neighborhoods on Lake Wylie in Belmont, NC.

A “Taste of Summer” will take place from 11 am to 4 pm 

Join us lakeside in South Shore for the picnic and most activities. From Armstrong Road, signs will guide you to the main event on South Shore Drive overlooking Lake Wylie. Here’s the schedule:
  • Kayak rides and paddle-boarding: 11 am-4 pm
  • Picnic lunch: 11:30 am-1:30 pm
  • Kona Ice Truck: 2-4 pm
  • Lakeside strolls to McLean Point: 11 am-4 pm
  • Seven Oaks Nature Preserve hikes: 11 am-4 pm
  • Post-event Happy Hour (at Seven Oaks Café): 4-5 pm
