McLean enters an exciting new phase this spring, with the opening of model homes and the availability of home sites overlooking scenic ponds dotting the community landscape.

Homes in McLean span a variety of sizes and styles with prices starting in the mid $200s for low maintenance cottage-style homes. Estate and custom homes start in the $500s and $900s respectively.

3 more model homes open or opening soon

Prospective homebuyers can now tour models recently completed by John Wieland Homes and Essex Homes as well as the Peachtree Residential model completed last fall. MI Homes will complete another model in the coming weeks.

Lots with views of shady ponds now available

Two of McLean’s builders, Peachtree Residential and M/I Homes, have begun selling homes overlooking shaded ponds in The Conservancy and South Shore neighborhoods in addition to the waterfront homesites offered for sale by McLean and its custom builder group.

About McLean

McLean is taking shape along 5 miles of Lake Wylie shoreline in southern Belmont, NC. When completed, McLean will total more than 850 homes in three distinctly different neighborhoods.

The 670-acre McLean community encompasses much of the former estate of the Stowe family – pioneers in Gaston County’s textiles heritage. The carefully crafted master plan for McLean preserves the former estate’s best natural features for enjoyment by residents.

More than 100 acres has been reserved for public parks, community ponds, residents’ clubs and walking trails. Several trails are marked and open to the public now, including the Seven Oaks Preserve nature trail beside The Conservancy.
